The ALSA-1250 is an automated tester designed to benefit a technician by analyzing and recording parameters of Inductive Loops and their associated detectors based on the NEMA TS1, NEMA TS2, and FHWA/CalTrans 1989 standards.  The tester allows for field-testing of the inductive loop, cabinet wiring, lead-in wiring, and the associated detector.  The tester interfaces with the detector and the detector's cabinet wiring connector (both shelf type and rack type) to perform the tests.  The Tester can save up to 55 test reports that can be downloaded later to a computer.  Test results can also be printed on the built-in printer that can be left in the field to provide a reference for future maintenance and troubleshooting activities at the site.
