9600 Series Modem

The Naztec 9600 Series Stand Alone Modem consists of two models, the 9600A and the 9600B.
The 9600A modem is designed to operate as an FSK modem over existing interconnect cable that is not twisted or shielded. This unique feature includes the capability of rejecting the 60 Hz voltage that might be induced when operating on an active interconnect line. This provides the system administrator with a simple and effective method of transition from an existing system to a Naztec “Closed Loop System” by allowing the operation of the Naztec Model 9600A modem in conjunction with the existing interconnect signals on the other pairs. The system administrator will then have the capability of integrating the new system in a gradual incremental manner instead of a complete and total change over to the new system.
The Naztec 9600A and 9600B both will operate on industry standard twisted pair cables in both full and half duplex modes. The 9600B model is designed strictly for twisted pair operation.
